Every meeting type has its own booking form. Open Meeting types, find the link, and select Edit booking form.
Layout
Choose one of two responsive formats:
- Stacked — one field per row.
- Compact — two columns on wide screens and one column on mobile.
Standard fields
Email is always required because Aroundtime uses it for calendar invitations and confirmations. You can customize its label and placeholder.
Name and notes can each be:
- Shown or hidden.
- Optional or required.
- Given a custom label.
- Given a custom placeholder.
When Name is hidden or optional and left empty, Aroundtime derives a guest display name from the email address.
Custom fields
Add up to ten custom fields. Available response formats:
| Format | Use for |
|---|---|
| Short text | Company, role, or a short answer. |
| Long text | Goals, context, or agenda details. |
| Phone number | A callback or contact number. |
| Dropdown | A controlled choice from configured options. |
| Checkbox | Confirmation, consent, or acknowledgement. |
Use the up and down controls to order fields. The editor order is the order guests see.
Validation and storage
Aroundtime validates the form in the browser and again on the server. The server enforces required fields, dropdown options, response formats, and length limits. Unknown response keys are discarded.
Validated custom responses are stored with the booking. Non-empty responses are included in the Google Calendar event description so the host has context before the meeting.
